Citco Corporate and Trust organizes successful Roundtable in Jakarta on inbound and outbound Indonesian investment strategies
The Roundtable held in Jakarta on December 14th, 2011 explored the complex international tax rules which affect both inbound and outbound investments and transactions in Indonesia. During the conference, key speakers from Deloitte & Touche, Indonesia, O’Melveny & Myers, Singapore and Jakarta, and Hogan Lovells from the Netherlands, discussed practical examples of how rules on cross border transactions impact on investments and transactions and how their consequences can be properly managed.
The event was attended by HNWI families, corporations, private equity funds and multinationals.
“It was an excellent opportunity to combine the overwhelming attendance at the Seminar with a series of separate meetings for the attendees with key professionals involved in Indonesian’s infrastructure development. The demand for real economic substance and compliant structuring confirms our strategic approach and our dedication to be the leading onshore compliant solution provider in Indonesia. The conference provided the platform for us to meet with a large number of the region’s intermediaries, who are likely to be influential in the decision making process for introducing business to particular jurisdictions.”- quoted Jeroen van Zanten, director of business development based in Singapore.
