Denmark extends deadlines for holding annual general meetings and filing financial statements by three months

26 May 2020 - With the COVID-19 crisis continuing, Denmark has decided to extend the deadlines for holding annual general meetings and filing financial statements by three months.

This extension applies to all companies where the financial year ends during the period from 31 October 2019 up to and including 30 April 2020.

The new regulation also allows businesses to hold a fully electronic general meeting even if the articles of association of the company do not provide for this option.
