Tokyo office expansion

Tokyo, August 6, 2026 — The Citco group of companies (Citco), the leading asset servicer to the alternative investment sector, has moved its Tokyo office to a larger location that reflects the continued growth in both headcount and business at Citco Japan Co. KK since its launch in November 2024.

Citco Japan's new office is located at BIZCORE Nishi-Shinbashi 12F, 3-13-3 Nishi-Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo 105-0003, in the heart of Tokyo's business district. The expanded office will support the continued growth of the local team, which provides investment accounting and operations, as well as Special Purpose Company (SPC) administration services to alternative asset managers in the region.

Since opening in November 2024, Citco has steadily grown its local presence, doubling its headcount over the last year as client demand across the region continues to build. Looking ahead, Citco is focused on further broadening its service offering in Japan to include fund accounting and fund operations, enabling clients and prospects to benefit from a more integrated, scalable and future-ready operating model that combines local market nuances with the strength and consistency of Citco’s global platform.

Ken Shimamura, Head of Client Servicing, Citco Japan Co. KK, said: “This move marks an important milestone for Citco in Japan. As we welcome new colleagues to the team, our new office gives us the space we need to continue supporting our clients across the region and to build on the momentum since our launch in 2024.

"Japan remains a key part of our Asia Pacific growth strategy. The continued expansion of our Tokyo team reflects our long-term commitment to supporting alternative asset managers with both inbound and outbound investment activity in the region."

Citco Japan Co. KK was established to expand Citco's operational and servicing locations within the Asia-Pacific region, underscoring the firm's continued commitment to the Asia-Pacific market.

Citco has over $3 trillion in assets under administration (AuA) and offers a full suite of middle- and back-office services to alternative investment companies globally, including fund accounting, treasury and loan administration and loan servicing, investor services, corporate services, regulatory and risk reporting, banking solutions, and tax and financial reporting.
