Citco Waterfall™ - Scenario Modeling Tool

14 March 2023 - The Citco group of companies (Citco) has enhanced its Citco Waterfall™ tool to enable clients to customize and calculate forward looking investor distributions and carried interest scenarios on their desktop.

The Scenario Modeling enhancement, which is also available as an add-on service within the Citco Waterfall tool, allows clients to generate carried interest projections through a step-by-step wizard allowing them to configure and run multiple scenarios.

Features include:

• The ability to model sales of one or more investments on a specific date
• Creation of a hypothetical Waterfall calculation with custom NAV values for each investment
• Modeling the impact of adding investments to a fund
• Modeling the realization of all open investments over a period of time
• Automatically add a projection of management fees and other fund expenses

The web-based tool significantly enhances Citco Waterfall™, which was launched in 2019 and enables alternative asset managers to efficiently calculate a variety of waterfall distributions via a standardized platform.
